How to Make a Keepsake Place Mat!

It’s always fun to have kids fill out a questionnaire about themselves. You never know what kids are going to say, and that’s the best part! I designed a “My Favorite Things” questionnaire that works great for Valentine’s Day gifts.

To make this keepsake gift more special, I made another printable with a Valentine’s Day poem with blank space where you can add a child’s footprints. The poem says “I love you from the bottom of my heart to the tips of my toes!”

After your kids fill out the form and you add their footprints, they look adorable!!

You print one or both. Either one would be cute framed, but I decided to make a place mat out of mine.

Laminate1

I went to FedEx Office and laminated them to make my placemat. Choose the largest lamination sheet and line up both sheets of paper.

Insert the sheet to the laminator and you have an adorable keepsake place mat.

This took about 5 minutes and is less than $5! I think it turned out really cute! What a memorable place setting for a family member to bring out each Valentine’s Day.
